Our florists work with fresh seasonal flowers. Occasionally, floral gifts may be made with flowers of a different color or variety than pictured, depending on availability.
Preparation
Products are prepared and packaged on the same day to ensure the freshness of the flowers.
Care
Very cold water: Tulips love cold. Give them clean water, and if you can, add a couple of ice cubes; this will keep their stems stiff for longer.
Small amount: They only need about 5-10 cm of water. If you fill the vase too much, the stem will soften and rot faster.
Straight cut: Cut 1 cm off the stem straight (not diagonally like roses) before placing them in the vase.
They seek light: Don't be alarmed if they bend; tulips have "phototropism" and move towards light. If you want them straight, rotate the vase daily.
Watch for growth: They continue to grow in the vase! If you notice them becoming too tall, you can trim the stems every other day.
